Dr. George M. Guise has been a practicing dentist for over 25 years. Most of those years have been as an active duty officer for the United States Navy in service of our Nation’s warfighters. After 21 years of military service and practicing all over the country and all over the world he retired at the rank of Captain.
Dr. Guise received his Bachelor’s degree from Kansas State University and went on to receive his Doctorate in Dentistry from Tufts School of Dental Medicine. He was in private practice for a short period of time in Colorado before joining the United States Navy. After practicing as a general dentist for 10 years he was accepted to the Bureau of Medicine and Surgery’s Endodontics program. During his residency he subsequently received his Master’s degree in Oral Biology from the George Washington University. Upon graduation, Dr. Guise received the honor of being named the #1 resident of all residents graduating from the numerous specialty programs that year.
After retiring from the Navy, Dr. Guise spent a year searching for the ideal place to relocate his family. After visiting Tennessee and Marquee Dental Group he found the fit perfect and he now looks forward to providing the best care for patients in his care. His practice philosophy is simple. Patients are afraid to get a root canal, so he and his team strive to make the procedure quick, painless and a surprise that it was that easy!
